This base layer creates macro-structures on the back to reduce air turbulence. This results in significantly greater aerodynamic gains than traditional non-textured fabrics.

Choice of materials

Our fabric selection was geared towards breathability and ventilation. Why use aerodynamic but thick materials to save a few watts… only to lose more due to body overheating?

• On the front: our lightest and most breathable fabric possible.

• On the back: a new ultra-light aerodynamic fabric, developed by our team.

• On the sleeves: a fabric with a more pronounced texture. As the arms are among the first areas to come into contact with the air, this texture disrupts and structures the surface flow and thus helps to limit aerodynamic drag.

The result: an extremely lightweight and breathable product, capable of adapting to the most demanding temperatures while saving precious watts. Wind tunnel tests demonstrated a gain of 6.5 W at 50 km/h .

The BaseLayer also incorporates a discreet radio pocket, which can help reduce aerodynamic drag depending on your position on the bike.
